NoSql databases can be extremely fast but they suffer from certain disadvantages such as reliability problems. The company called Garantia aims to take traditional NoSql database systems such as Memcached and Redis and convert them into highly reliable data stores. In a recent announcement, it is offering plans that charge customers based on the amount of database storage rather than the number of instances used.
